1. Yoast SEO lets you add alt tags, meta descriptions, and a bunch of other important tags to your posts
2. EWWW Image Optimizer lets you bulk optimize your photos so that your website runs quickly – awesome!
3. Jetpack gives you analytics, filters SPAM comments and do so much more
4. Wordfence protects your website from hacks and makes sure you don’t get penalized in search
5. Sumo is great for collecting email addresses for your newsletter and tracking visitors to your website
6. Don’t use too many plugins as they can slow your site down
7. Only use plugins that have hundreds of positive reviews, and have been updated recently
